A TRUCK became stuck under the bridge on Newport Road at Dora Creek on Friday. Police attended and the vehicle was extricated from the eastbound lane. Lake Macquarie City Council said 'low clearance' signage was evident on both the eastbound and westbound approaches to the bridge. "Signage is also in place on the approach to the bridge at the intersection of Newport Road and Freemans Drive," a council spokesperson said. Transport for NSW said the incident caused only a slight delay to train services.
