Hosts Swansea-Belmont make winning start to NSW Surf Lifesaving Age Championships

TY Leadbeatter won the first gold medal for host club Swansea-Belmont at the NSW surf lifesaving age titles on Friday. The three-day junior carnival started with mainly beach events and Leadbeatter, the son of multiple national and state champion Angela Leadbeatter, claimed the under-11 1km beach run. Cooks Hill’s Daisy Breasley, James Jackson and Alex Walker won surf race titles.
