It was all part of Year 10 Business Week at the school.
Best of all, the fundraising targets for the event were exceeded.
Commerce teacher, Dan Gorry, said Business Week had real benefits - both for the students and local emergency services.
"Business Week is a great project-based learning activity where the students get real-world experience in running and promoting a small business," Mr Gorry said.
"The best part is that the 'tax' they pay on their profit is donated to charity. Avondale School is extremely thankful for the hard work the emergency services put in to keep our community safe and the money raised represents a small token of our appreciation."
Students was tasked with researching their food business, building a plan, working out their costs, and then running their stall each day during recess and lunchtimes for the week.
