Wilson, the legendary Australian singer and songwriter, and former Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock frontman, will be preceded on the Memorial Park stage by The House Band, One Hit Wonders, local duo Tourmaline, and Tuggerah Lakes Show Band.
The event will run from 2pm to 9pm on Sunday, January 26, and also feature activities for children.
Start your celebrations early, on Saturday, January 25, and head to the Canton Beach foreshore from 4pm to 9pm for a dazzling array of foods and live music.
Council's community partnerships unit manager, Glenn Cannard, said vibrant events the events at The Entrance and Canton Beach would celebrate all things Australian.
"The devastating bushfire situation our nation is facing has seen so many incredible demonstrations of what it means to be Australian and Australia Day is an opportunity for us all to come together and celebrate our country," Mr Cannard said.
Mayor Lisa Matthews said she was looking forward to the weekend.
"It has been a challenging few months for not only the Central Coast but also the wider community with regards to the bushfires," Cr Matthews said.
"Council has worked very hard on creating family-friendly celebrations that offer something for everyone to enjoy, and we are expecting to see great crowds come together to celebrate the best of what makes us Australian."
At the southern end of the Central Coast, council is staging an Australia Day event at the Woy Woy Foreshore from 2pm to 9pm.
That event will feature live music headlined by Live Baby Live: The INXS Tribute Show.
Woy Woy will also host the inaugural sail past of boats decorated in their Aussie best.
