MOTORISTS travelling north on the M1 Pacific Motorway are experiencing significant delays this afternoon due to two separate truck fires in Bar Point and Berowra.
Motorists are advised to avoid the areas and delay their trips.
In Bar Point, there are now two northbound lanes open on the motorway just past Jolls Bridge as the salvage and clean-up continues after an early-morning truck fire.
One northbound lane remains closed past the site.
In Berowra, one of three northbound lanes is closed just past the Berowra on-ramp, along with the on-ramp from the Pacific Highway.
Motorists who need to travel can consider using the Pacific Highway instead, but should allow extra time.
Anyone needing to travel between Sydney and the Central Coast can also consider catching a Central Coast and Newcastle line train.
Emergency services and traffic crews are at both incidents.
