The donation was made as a gesture of the women's appreciation for the service and sacrifice of local RFS volunteers around Lake Macquarie and in distant communities impacted by bushfires.
Morisset CWA branch secretary and Northumberland Group vice-president Lynne Radley said local RFS volunteers were extraordinary human beings.
"I think they're just marvellous," Ms Radley said.
"For these local volunteers to leave their jobs and leave their families to go out and help others in times of need... I don't think they get enough recognition for all that they do."
The trailer comprised a range of foodstuffs including tinned and packaged food, snacks, drinks and medical supplies including eye wash, pawpaw cream, lip balm and moisturizers.
Ms Radley said the CWA compiled only items included on a wish list provided by the RFS.
The items were donated by members of Morisset CWA, residents of Lakeside Retirement Village, in Bonnells Bay, and from Rathmines residents who responded to an appeal from the Century 21 Gallery real estate office.
The donated items were shared between the Mandalong, Dora Creek, Cooranbong and Peninsula (Mirrabooka) RFS crews.
Morisset CWA also recently made an important donation to the Lake Macquarie State Emergency Services (SES) unit at Boolaroo.
"Just before Christmas we put together 50 emergency bags for the SES unit at Boolaroo," Ms Radley.
The bags contained items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, razers, shaving cream, tissues and flannels.
"The emergency bags went into the SES trucks so that when those volunteers get seconded to other regions, they have something for themselves, or if they have any spares they can hand them out to people who need them," Ms Radley said.
Morisset CWA has 25 members who range in age from their 20s to 90s.
Ms Radley said the group meets once a month, usually on the second Monday, at the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church Hall, in Gimberts Road.
