Featuring the vocals of Paul McGovern, The Eagles Show - Heart of the Matter takes audiences on a journey through the Eagles' career.
A special feature of the show is the tribute to the voice of the Eagles, Don Henley.
McGovern's unique voice, akin to that of the legendary Henley, takes audiences back in time with the beautiful vocal harmonies responsible for creating the incomparable sound of the Eagles.
The tribute show's lead vocalist developed a love for Henley's music through his exposure to The Eagles, and having served as the principal vocalist in The Eagles tribute show New Kids in Town in the late 1980's.
He was born to sing Eagles songs, as he possesses a voice with an identical range and a slight huskiness akin to Henley's, lending a feel of authenticity to his delivery.
Joining McGovern on stage is band Cameron Lees, Glenn Magson, Jerry Ico and Rob Turner.
All the favourite Eagles classics such as Hotel California, Witchy Woman, Heartache Tonight, The Long Run along with The Heart of the Matter, New York Minute, Talking to the Moon, Dirty Laundry and The Boys of Summer from Henley's solo albums will be played during the show.
The Eagles Show - Heart of the Matter will land at Belmont 16s on Friday, February 21. The show will begin at 8.30pm.
Tickets, $25 for the show only or $64 for dinner and the show, are on sale now through the club or online at 16s.com.au.
