The 30-year-old, who arrived home at Coal Point on Sunday following celebrations at the finish line 24 hours earlier, wants to continue his journey with the Comanche crew following his maiden crown in Australia's premier sailing event.
Langford, on board Comanche for a second straight campaign, and his teammates bounced back in 2019 after being narrowly beaten in the closing stages of the race 12 months ago.
"I've got no plans of stopping," Langford said. "It was such a buzz being back in the race again. The start is such a highlight because of how many people are there [in Sydney] and the atmosphere.
"So it's not a matter of ticking that box and never doing it again. There's always things you can do better, be it the boat or the team. We already want to do it again next year and win back that title."
Langford said the victory "was right up there as one of the things you want to achieve in your sailing career". He said a deliberate push in the "12 hours beforehand" to arrive at the River Derwent as early as possible "set up" the result.
Comanche stopped the clock on Saturday morning after one day, 18 hours, 30 minutes and 24 seconds.
Ichi Ban clinched the 2019 Sydney to Hobart handicap honours for a second time in three years.
The former America's Cup champion now gets a few weeks off before rejoining Team Australia and trying to defend the SailGP trophy.
Langford will also take part in SailGP's first ever learning camp, which will be held at Point Wolstoncroft Sport and Recreation Centre in Lake Macquarie from January 21-24.
The camp, an initiative of SailGP and the NSW Government's Office of Sport, is aimed at young people aged 9-13 who have never sailed before. Up to 24 participants from across regional NSW, including Lake Macquarie, will have the opportunity to try the sport for the first time through the Inspire Learning Camp.
Participants will get the chance to meet the Australia SailGP team, including Langford.
