The 21-year-old gained eligibility to trial for the Games in Tokyo having scored 118 out of 125 and helped Australian skeet team claim gold at the Oceania Championships in Sydney last month.
"If he [Morris] can maintain that standard he will put himself in the mix for an Olympic spot," NLMCTC vice-president Murray Roberts said. "He's a lovely young man."
Also contesting the upcoming event at the Awaba venue will be Rio Olympian James Willett and dual Commonwealth Games gold medalist Leticha Scanlon.
Willett and Scanlon, under the guidance of coach and 1996 Games champion Russell Mark, recently trained at NLMCTC.
Shooting Australia are set to name their national Olympic squad in March.
