The women will share their personal and professional journeys, both strongly linked to sport and sports management, over two courses at Brown Sugar Restaurant at Warners Bay.
Ms Youman represented Australia on 23 occasions and held an AIS Scholarship at the Australian Institution of Sport while bringing up three children under the age of five.
She has worked in management for more than 20 years, including working in sport for federal and state government bodies as well as serving as General Manager of Newcastle and Hunter Rugby Union.
Now a Director of One Community and Boosted, a start-up focused on empowering people with disabilities, Ms Youman will talk about her challenges, successes and highlights throughout her business and playing career.
Katie Brassil is the first woman appointed to the board of The West Group in its 60-year history. And while she has 'never stuck her head in the front row of a scrum', she has served three years on the Newcastle Knights' board before the franchise was transferred to the Wests Group.
Ms Brassil has spent the past 13 years in the mining sector as Executive General Manager Approvals, Sustainability and Corporate Communications and is currently serving on the Board of the NSW Minerals Council.
The event begins at 11.30am on Wednesday, December 11.
