Coach David Hoban said having Clark on board had given the club a boost on the eve of pre-season training.
"Brad has been instrumental in our success and everyone is very excited to have him back on board as we prepare to get ready for the season ahead," Hoban said.
The coach said he valued Clark for his experience, vision and ability to remain calm under pressure.
And Clark's leadership was respected by his teammates, he said.
"Leaders have respect. It's the No.1 ingredient. Brad doesn't always say a lot, but when he does everyone listens closely."

Clark said he was approaching the season with enthusiasm.
"With the group of players we have, I really wanted to challenge myself and try to go back to back," Clark said.
"My body is feeling really good after the 2019 season and I can't wait for 2020 to start."
Dora Creek's head of football operations Graham Killen said it was important for the club to have a senior player of Clark's calibre in the 2020 roster.
"Brad is well respected by all players and staff. His direction and leadership on and off the field is invaluable and we could not be happier that he is with us again in 2020 for his fourth season as a Swampie," Killen said.

Hoban said the club was also hoping to have Diamond Charlie re-sign for 2020.
"Diamond is still enjoying the break and off season and will make a decision after the New Year," Hoban said.
"We will do everything we can to persuade him to play."
The Swampies will get together for a pre-Christmas lunch, before starting training at the end of January.
