More medium density and infill housing needed
LAKE Macquarie City Council has released its draft Lake Macquarie Housing Strategy. The draft acknowledges the need for more infill and medium-density development across the city. Council on Monday approved the exhibition of the draft strategy for 28 days. The strategy presents several priorities to guide planning for housing over the next 15 to 20 years. Mayor Kay Fraser said the city needed more homes and the draft ensured a consistent approach to the design and delivery of quality housing.
