"Keep the heat out with awnings over your windows," she said. "The best way to stop the heat is to not let it hit the glass, keeping the entire room cooler. Internal shutters are also a great way to keep the heat out and look secure and classy.
"Blinds too are great with the screen blind to keep the glare down and also protect your furniture and flooring from the harsh sun. Blockout blinds are great for those days you want a lie in. Or both can be used as a day and night blind. This year the curtains are sheek in their design and can add a lot to a room: To block out the heat with a heavier curtain but also to add some elegance to a room with a lovely sheer."

"You pick your fabric and style, we do a measure and quote, our suppliers then make the item to measure, and we then go to your home and install them," Ruth said.
