The work is part of the M1 Pacific Motorway upgrade between the Tuggerah and Doyalson interchanges.
The Warnervale interchange is being upgraded to include a new northbound G-loop for motorists to access the M1 Pacific Motorway.
Work will be carried out to upgrade the southbound on- and off-ramp and the northbound on-ramp. It involves asphalting, kerb and guttering, guard rail and signage installation, and line marking.
Night work will be carried out between 8.30pm and 4.30am on weekdays, and between 8.30pm and 4.30am on Sundays, starting with the southbound off-ramp from Tuesday, October 22, for two nights.
Work will then be carried out on the southbound on-ramp for two nights from Thursday, October 24, and the northbound on-ramp for two nights from Sunday, October 27.
Similar work will continue on these ramps for up to three weeks.
Motorists could expect up to 10-minute delays on the ramp when work was being carried out, a spokesperson for Transport for NSW said.
"Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control," the spokesperson said.
"The existing 80kph speed limit for the M1 Tuggerah-to-Doyalson upgrade will remain in place on the M1 Pacific Motorway."
