Iffland, of Nords Wharf, has enjoyed a stellar 12 months.
Her achievements have included winning:
- the gold medal at the 2019 FINA World High Diving Cup, in China;
- the gold medal in the 2019 18th FINA World High Diving Championships, in Gwangju, Korea; and
- the female section (she was undefeated) of the 2019 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
The awards ceremony will be held at The Star, Sydney, on Monday, November 18, and will be attended by the elite of NSW sport.
The awards celebrate achievements of NSW athletes and officials across 13 award categories.
The ceremony will also see Bradley Clyde (rugby league), John Holt (surf life saving), Lauren Jackson (basketball), Brent Livermore (hockey), Cheryl Salisbury (football) and Lisa Sthalekar (cricket) inducted into the NSW Hall of Champions.
Sport NSW chairperson, Carolyn Campbell, said the finalists had represented NSW sport with honour and distinction over the past 12 months.
"Our nominated athletes and organisations have excelled at the highest levels and we congratulate them on their outstanding achievements," Ms Campbell said.
"They have made an immense contribution to sport and to our state and have proven themselves to be fabulous community role models.
"This year's nominations in all categories were first class and the chosen finalists uphold NSW's well-earned reputation as Australia's premier sports state."
