Adssi In-home Support will present the seminar at Catalina Village on Friday, October 11.
The 'Tea and Technology for Seniors' event is funded by the federal government's 'Be Connected' program which is designed to get more seniors online and to help them hone their skills and remain connected to community and family.
The seminar will cover topics such as online safety and security, emails, taking and sharing photos, social media, apps, data, downloads and more.
It is open to all local seniors, and not exclusively residents of Catalina Village.
Adssi In-home Support is a not-for-profit community aged care provider with more than 30 years' experience.
"We support people with practical things like transport to appointments, grocery shopping, household tasks, meal preparation, home maintenance and modifications, respite and more," a spokesperson for Adssi In-home Care said.
Participants at the seminar will be able to register on the federal government's free 'Be Connected' site which has easy-to-access tutorials for almost any online query or task.
