A MORISSET man with a disability has made a public plea for the person who stole two ringneck parrots from the cage outside his Stockton Street home on Monday, September 16, to return the birds.

"If they return them, there will be no questions asked. Please, just put them back in the cage," the man said.
The birds were taken while the man volunteered at a local charitable organisation that he has worked at for the last five years.
The ringneck parrots were among 11 birds cared for by the man.
"I'd saved up to buy them [the ringnecks], and I'd only had them for a week," he said.
The birds are a source of comfort and joy for the man.
"I just love them so, please, bring the birds back and nothing will happen," the man said.
"I'd be over the moon."
The incident has been reported to police.
