The NRA said the store's owners, Greg Stevens and Annie Li, were crowned for their ongoing commitment to "going above and beyond" their customers' expectations.
It's little wonder then, that the store's reputation has attracted some high-profile customers, including premiers and ministers.
The store was also featured on the television program, The Franchise, three times in 2016 and 2017.
"We've been dedicated to promoting the Michel's Patisserie brand, building a strong team, and encouraging them to actively engage with our customers which would give everyone a sense of belonging to our business," Mr Stevens said.
"We're really proud of this award - the sixth major business award, and once we've taken some time to drink it all in, we'll continue looking at ways to reshape the industry for greater outcomes again."
The store first won the NRA Franchisee of the Year award in 2016.
In 2015, the store won the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence award for best retail practices.
And in 2016, the store won the Hunter Business Chamber Excellence award for best customer service.
