Williamson won the 2019 three division title based on handicap played in a round robin format.
With seven players vying for the gold crown, Williamson emerged triumphant by winning five of his six games. He did not, however, have it all his own way and was pushed all the way by rival Greg Burns. Williamson eventually took the honours on a count back from Burnes, who was also successful in winning five of his six games contested.
The victory will see Williamson compete in the Australian men's singles championships to be staged later this month at Cairnlea, Victoria. He has also been picked to play with the NSW Interstate Shield team which will also contest a major tournament at Cairnlea in September.
The silver singles, a handicap range of 5-8 and featuring seven players contesting six games each in a round robin format, was won by Ted Lyng, who was the only player to win five out of his six matches.
The bronze singles handicap range (9-14) had 10 players nominated and it was played in two seeded blocks. The winner of block A was Kevin Davies and block B was Ray Jessup. It was a close fought battle between Davies and Jessup, with Davies being the overall victor 6/5 after extra time.
