Centre chief instructor Brian Hayes said the offer was a Father's Day gift, but added that men of any age could take advantage of it.
"At Hunter Valley Martial Arts Centre we strongly believe that by taking control of your physical well-being you can take control of your life," Hayes said. "We aim to motivate the dad's in the community this month so that they can refocus on the benefits of physical fitness and also inspire their kids through their example to grow into fit and strong adults."
There are Hunter Valley Martial Arts Centres in Warners Bay, Waratah, Redhead, Greenhills and Morisset. All five locations will be offering the free fitness classes.
Hayes said Hunter Valley Martial Arts Centre's senior instructors have created a fitness challenge that is based on personal best scores, which will be compared during the time-span of a month. He added that this will be implemented into the Fight Fit class across all five of centre locations.
"There is a strong correlation between physical well being and mental and emotional well-being," Hayes said. "This relationship between body and mind has always been a central focus of martial arts training."
