The main event will be held at the Living Smart Festival at Speers Point Park on Saturday, September 28 from 8am to 2pm.
Additional plant giveaways will be held at Belmont Library on October 1 from 4pm to 6pm and Morisset Library on October 2 from 4pm to 6pm.
The giveaway is for Lake Macquarie residents only with proof of address required.
In addition to the plant giveaway, the Living Smart Festival, which is celebrating its 10th year, will also include cooking demonstrations and a 'wardrobe edit' by the sisters behind local fashion label High Tea With Mrs Woo on the Saturday.
Feast For the Senses returns on the evening of Friday, September 27 following its successful launch last year, while the main Living Smart Festival activities will take place on Saturday, September 28.
For the first time ever, the festival will be spread across three days, from September 27-29 and will feature a family-friendly Sunday program of music, entertainment and other activities.
For those with sensory needs, their families, carers and friends, our IncludingYOU tent provides the perfect retreat.
