The group, which started at the Wangi Quilt Group, turns 30 this year and as such, the show will carry the theme: The Big 3-0.
Held at the Wangi District Workers Club, more then 100 quilts and other items will be on display from August 23 to August 25.
The Wangi Quilt group was formed 30 years ago this November.
Since that time the group has grown from a handful of women, to now having 85 members, including one man.
Members meet weekly at the Wangi Sailing Club.
The not-for-profit organisation that raises money for local charities, makes quilts for the John Hunter Hospital, as well as peanut pillows for hospital's neonatal unit. The group also hosts Australia's biggest morning tea each year at the Wangi Bowling Club and raises money for Beanies for Brain Cancer.
Members have been busy making small challenge entries to this year's show which is offering a modern quilt as this year's major raffle prize.
Second prize is a porcelain doll.
The show is open from 10am - 4pm, Friday August 23 to Sunday, August 25.
Entry is $6.00 with the group raising money for Allira House Inc. which provides crisis accommodation for women and children.
