The Nextt Group has completed a merger with Dolleina, a major disability service provider in New South Wales.

Over the past 20 years, Nextt has built its reputation as a specialist provider for people with cognitive, psycho-social disabilities, including autism and other intellectual disabilities.

Dolleina has been providing attendant care to clients with high physical support needs. Its presence in the Hunter and mid-North coast has made it a leader in disability support across rural NSW.

Nextt and Dolleina have spent the past six months closely integrating their teams and systems into a united business.

Nextt CEO Mark Mulder says the strategic acquisition will allow the combined Nextt Dolleina business to expand not only its services but also its geographic coverage. They now have the expertise and staff to support a broad spectrum of clients.

"At Nextt, our vision is to help our clients get more out of life," Mr Mulder explained.

"From frontline Disability Support Workers to the CEO, every member on our team is passionate about delivering on that promise," he continued.

"The addition of the amazing team at Dolleina allows us to build on what we're good at, which is providing high-quality services to meet our client's individual needs.

"We have already begun sharing expertise and increasing our staff training and skills... Our staff are 100 per cent committed to delivering on our vision."

Mr Mulder recognises that choosing a new provider can be daunting and stressful for both clients and their support staff, that's why his team have worked hard to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.

"In our experience, these three questions are top of mind during these times: Will the transition be difficult? Can I keep my existing support staff? And, is my new provider qualified to support me?" he said.

"To answer the first question: We have set up a dedicated transition team to be responsive and help make transition as smooth as possible," Mr Mulder continued.

"We also understand that many clients value the support their current staff provide. We will endeavour to transition support staff, where possible.

"And finally, our staff are highly qualified. Nextt Dolleina combines the experience of two specialist organisations, to support your specific needs from personal care to community access and skill building. The Nextt Group provides disability services across NSW, VIC, QLD and SA and owns the Lizard Centres which provide early intervention services to young children.
