The kids explored the area around the former Rathmines Catalina airbase and across to the Rathmines Catalina playground.
Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddle Walk encourages family, friends and child care centres to go on a walk and jump in some muddy puddles to raise funds to support the programs run by Save the Children's Fund in Australia and overseas.
During August, thousands of people around Australia will take part by organising their own Muddy Puddle Walk, and the child care centre that raises the most money will win an exclusive appearance by Peppa Pig herself.
Save the Children donor development manager Nikki Kerridge said joining Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddle Walk was an enjoyable and easy way to support Save the Children's life-saving work.
"Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddle Walk is a fun event that takes place all through the month of August, so it's easy to arrange your own fundraiser in a local park, your backyard, or even inside," Ms Kerridge said.
"Participating in a Muddy Puddle Walk makes the most of the wintery weather for a good cause - helping children across the world get the chance to have a better life."
Save the Children works across 200 locations in Australia and more than 125 countries, helping children affected by conflict and disaster and delivering long-term development programs.
