Situated in Brighton Avenue, she has welcomed and assisted many businesses, clubs and schools with their clothing requirements.
She has seen a lot of changes over the years.
Certainly the ability to order so many products online these days has dramatically changed the industry, but Julie has found that customers still like to come into the shop for that personalised assistance.
Being able to try on clothing for sizing and feel the fabrics is always a good thing.
As well as servicing businesses, schools and clubs, Mono Unique Embroidery also supply a huge range of promotional products from stubbie holders, water bottles, pens, keyrings and shopping bags.
There has been a marked increase in the supply of hi-vis tradewear and this is now a large proportion of the business.
"We have also just recently acquired a large range of uniforms to cater to the healthcare industry," Julie said.
"From scrubs and printed tunics to comfort cargo pants and scrub identifiers that attach to the sleeves of the scrubs in different colours to identify the departments, streams and jobs."
Other services provided include embroidery, screenprinting, vinyl printing and sublimation.
