NSW residents aged 16 years or older are invited to vote for up to five projects in their electorate as part of the My Community Project program.
The Lakes Mail recently featured the list of 16 projects vying for funding in the Lake Macquarie electorate.
The list includes a community kitchen in Toronto, scoreboards at PCYC Morisset, a swimming stroke lab in Toronto, and a nature space and community hub in Coal Point.
In the Swansea electorate, the proposed projects include a.-
- covered court outdoor learning area at Northlakes Public School, San Remo ($200,000);
- sensory playground with improved access and equipment at Lake Munmorah Public School ($45,000);
- Camp Breakaway bathroom upgrade, San Remo ($180,000);
- playground at Gwandalan Public School ($50,000);
- inclusive children's playground in Budgewoi ($156,200); and
- disabled amenities and Sailability storage shed at Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club ($177,073).
And in the Wyong electorate, the proposed projects include a.-
- home for Marine Rescue Norah Head's new rescue vessel (140,835);
- Toukley Golf Club on-course restroom and storm shelter ($60,000); and
- Gorokan High School outdoor learning space ($40,000).
