Andrews was banned for one game after match reviewer Michael Christian upheld the match day report for striking North Melbourne forward Nick Larkey.

Christian assessed the charge as intentional conduct with low impact and high contact.

Also on Monday, Christian cleared West Coast defender Tom Barrass of a collision that concussed Melbourne co-captain Jack Viney, saying the Eagle did not elect to bump and the contact was not unreasonable.

Andrews' teammate Dayne Zorko and Jy Simpkin were fined $1000 apiece for misconduct against each other.

GWS forward Jeremy Finlayson was also fined $1000 for misconduct against Collingwood's Flynn Appleby and Carlton utility Jack Silvagni is out of pocket $1000 for careless umpire contact.
