The Worst Day Of My Life and The Spy Who Came In For The Phone promise audiences a fun night out.
Both plays were written by Englishman Alan Richardson, and will be directed by Helen Bristow.
"In The Worst Day Of My Life, Charlie Brown (played by Bob Porter) has been laid up in hospital for some time and is being well cared for by nurse Samantha Howard (Jenny Markwell)," Ms Bristow said.
"He happily receives regular morning, afternoon and evening visits from Evelyn (Madylyn Elliott), Joanne (Judy Smith) and Melissa (Sue Feighan). The only problem is today, circumstances have resulted in all three visiting simultaneously."
And so Charlie's problems begin.

"In The Spy Who Came In For The Phone, Sally (Jenni Stroenic) and Chris (Wes Galvin) are about to move into their first flat together and are in the process of decorating it," Ms Bristow said.
"A very pedantic GPO technician, Ron (Bill Bannon) is taking quite some time to install a new phone and is constantly being interrupted by a helpful landlady Mrs Davies (Madylyn Elliott).
"After receiving some strange calls on the new phone, Sally and Chris also receive a very strange visitor, Ludmila (Susan Randall) who may or may not be what she seems. This is a recipe for chaos until the day is saved by London bobby PC Nash (Bob Porter). Or is it?"
Catalina Players is a not-for-profit theatre group in its 45th year.
Proceeds from its shows over that time had been donated to the local community and now exceeded $265,000, Ms Bristow said.
Among the beneficiaries have been local schools, families in crisis, cultural and sporting activities, the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service and families affected by domestic violence, she said.
