Two men and a woman have now been charged following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a bottle shop in Blackalls Park in 2016.

About 6.20pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, a man allegedly armed with a knife entered a bottle shop on South Parade and threatened a male shop attendant, police said.
The armed man allegedly stole an amount of cash before running from the store.
Investigations by detectives from Lake Macquarie have culminated in the arrest and charging of three people.
On Monday, April 15, 2019, a woman attended Belmont Police Station where she was arrested and charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon; being that of a principal in the second degree.
On Thursday, May 2, 2019, a man was arrested on Main Road, Glendale, and charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon; being that of principal in the second degree
And on Monday, July 8, 2019, a man was charged at Kempsey Police Station with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon.
