Motorists had been using Main Road, the Pacific Highway and Wyong Road to travel north and south.
As a result, traffic is still heavier than usual, but is expected to ease now that all lanes are open.
Motorists should continue to allow extra time.
Additionally, Route 21 and 29 buses are running again now that the road has reopened.

WILFRED Barrett Drive (Central Coast Highway) is closed in both directions near Magenta Drive, at North Entrance, due to a crash involving two cars.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Northbound and southbound motorists can use Main Road, the Pacific Highway and Wyong Road instead.
Motorists should allow extra time and expect delays as traffic in the area is heavy.
Emergency services and traffic crews are on site and a medical helicopter is attending as well.
Additionally, Route 21 and 29 buses are not running due to the road closure.
