It's the story people know and love, and based on the 1992 Academy Award-winning film (which featured the voice of Robin Williams), and the 2014 Broadway stage show.
And it sees WMTC return to family-friendly Disney material - unlike the hilarious but naughty spoof on all things Disney, Disenchanted!, which the group's grown-ups staged in May with a well-deserved pre-show warning about adult content. (The orchestra was excellent, too, by the way...)
Aladdin Jnr features a cast of 35 players aged from 9 to 19.
Two worlds collide when a young street rat, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the fiery princess, Jasmine.
His chances seem grim until he meets the magical Genie who transforms him into a prince.
Director Amanda Daniel said she was rapt to work with some talented triple-threat performers.
"I am so passionate about this show and the simply superb cast we have assembled," Ms Daniel said.
"We knew from that very first day of auditions that we were going to be a part of something special. Our cast has brought their A game and created complex characters that work so well together and will be audience favourites.
"As a team, we wanted to create something that was captivating and brought Disney into the modern world, something that took audiences on a magical journey of make believe and we wanted also to create a place where our audience could get lost in wonder and excitement and believe in the power of love and friendship.
"We cannot wait to enter into Agrabah with everyone."
The cast includes Aladdin (played by Sean Logan) and his pals, Babkak (Connor Logan), Omar (Thomas Sutherland) and Kassim (Anneka Holland), Princess Jasmine (Caitlin Stevens), and Genie (Jamie Sturgess).
The score includes show stoppers, A Whole New World, Friend Like Me, One Jump, and Prince Ali, along with some new Broadway favourites.
"Aladdin Jr is a theatrical event like no other, where one lamp and three wishes make the possibilities infinite, where everyone learns that all that really matters is just to be yourself with the power of love in its truest form and a little bit of Genie magic thrown in along the way," Ms Daniel said.
Rounding out the creative team for the production is vocal director Sally Sturgess, assisted by Jamie Sturgess, and choreographer Danny-Elle Henderson.
Tickets cost $25.
Aladdin Jr will run from July 5 to 21, with mid-week and weekend performances, at the Grove Theatre, 1 North Road, Wyong.
