It is always an incredible evening when our lake and foreshore comes to life at night.
I love seeing our community come out in numbers and the beauty of Float Your Boat is that it's a mobile display, so whether you are at Warners Bay or Wangi Wangi, you'll be able to enjoy the show.
On Friday night, the flotilla of boats will make their way along the western side of the Lake, starting from Marmong Point Marina from 6pm and finishing at Wangi Wangi.
Then on Saturday night, the parade will head east from Marmong Point Marina around to Belmont.
There will also be live sites at Toronto this Friday night and Warners Bay on Saturday that will feature live music, food and entertainment. It should be another wonderful event across both nights.

Our City is beautiful at night and Float Your Boat makes use of the lake as the perfect stage. The event activates our lake and brings to life our foreshore where thousands of people participate in the event in their own special way.
More night-time events and activities are something that our community has raised during a host of community consultations over the past 18 months. People have said that they would like to do more after dark, which could be through longer retail hours, live entertainment, night cinemas, events, bars and clubs or sporting activities.
Council has been working on a strategy to see this become a reality and improve our night-time economy. This week Council approved the Night-Time Economy Action Plan, which sets the direction for Lake Mac to develop a vibrant and attractive night-time lifestyle. It includes 50 short, mid and long-term actions that will see us work with businesses and our community to grow the options for things to do after dark.
I'm really excited by the many opportunities a vibrant night-time economy presents. Not only will it be a whole lot of fun, but it will also provide direct economic and social benefits.
I can't wait to see what's to come and to continue to enjoy our incredible City with our community throughout the day and at night.
