The retiree is planning how he'll enjoy his retirement after winning $200,000 in today's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
He won the guaranteed first prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1310, drawn today.
The man was oblivious to his windfall until a NSW Lotteries official called him this afternoon to break the news.
"Yeah right. I don't believe you," the man said.
"Are you kidding me? Two hundred thousand dollars? You must be joking...
"Thank you very much. I've been playing Lucky Lotteries for about 10 years, if not longer. So this is just great.
"It's very nice to hear this news, I can tell you that."
Earlier this month, a Central Coast man who won $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw said a new water tank topped his wish list.
Today's winner said the $200,000 had come at the perfect time for him and his wife.
"There's plenty of things to do around the house and a few bills to take care of," he said.
"Now I can really enjoy my retirement. I think I am starting to believe you now. This is very good news."
The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Killarney Vale Newsagency.
NSW Lotteries customers can purchase a single ticket number into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for $2.20 and the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot for $5.50.
