That's the deal at Laycock Street Theatre on Saturday, May 4, when the Frankie Valli and The Beach Boys Show arrives at Gosford.
It might seem like an unusual pairing of artists for a tribute show, as both bands had distinctly different sounds. But what they had in common was great harmonies.
Frankie Valli and The Beach Boys Show features a live five-piece band who nail the harmonies, and a lead singer in Jeff Fallon who boasts the sort of falsetto vocal range and tone that enables him to sing all of Frankie Valli's songs in the original key.
"Apart from tight vocals and music, our emphasis is on entertaining our audience," Fallon said.
Fallon recently performed as Frankie Valli to packed houses at the Crown Casino, Melbourne, and has performed his Del Shannon Show all over Australia.
The Frankie Valli and The Beach Boys Show opens with the Beach Boys set, featuring a live band of four singer-musicians followed by a short interval.
Fallon joins and fronts the band in the second set to deliver a powerful Frankie Valli concert.
You'll here hits such as Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Working My Way Back to You, Can't Take My Eyes of You, Walk Like a Man, Let's Hang On, Grease and Oh What a Night!
In the Beach Boys set you'll hear hits including Fun Fun Fun, California Girls, I Get Around, Help Me, Rhonda, Surfer Girl, and Surfin' USA.
