Wyee Community Hall is the venue, and barbecued treats and cake are on the menu.
Morisset and Peninsula Sustainable Neighbourhood Group (MAPS) has hired the hall for the event from 10am to 2pm.
Hall treasurer Michele Hargrove said it promised to be a fun and informative gathering.
"We would like the community of Wyee and Wyee Point to come together to meet their neighbours and find out about local business," Ms Hargrove said.
"Swap a pot plant, enjoy a barbecue cooked by Wyee Fire Brigade, enjoy a sweet treat from Wyee School with their cake stand, and watch demonstrations by the Bootscooters and the karate group who are regular hall users."
Ms Hargrove said there had been wonderful support for the day from local businesses who had donated a range of lucky door prizes.
"These include from George Brand Real Estate, Wyee Foodworks, Wyee Computer Services, Wyee Nursery, Wyee Chemist/Post Office, Wyee Tacs, The Doylo, and Active Fitness," she said.
Lake Macquarie mayor Kay Fraser and state MP Greg Piper will be there, Ms Hargrove said.
