"I want to invite the Central Coast community to the forum and give them an opportunity to ask questions about Labor's policies on energy and climate change," Mr Butler said.
"Climate change and energy are two important issues on the Coast as we approach the May federal election," he said.
Member for Dobell, Emma McBride, said the pair would detail Labor's plans to tackle climate change and make energy more affordable.
Locals were encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing them to emma.mcbride.mp@aph.gov.au
Tickets to the forum at Forresters Beach are free, but limited.
