The delegates explored the region on hosted visits as part of the conference program co-hosted by Central Coast Council.
The theme was 'experience changes perceptions', and delegates left the major highways to explore towns including Norah Head.
"The conference theme echoes our aims to work with tourism businesses to improve perceptions of and increase visitation to the Central Coast as a destination," Tourism Central Coast's Russell Mills said.
Delegates enjoyed itineraries themed around food and drink, wedding venues, nature and urban renewal.
The Central Coast saw positive increases in domestic and international visitor numbers and expenditure in the recent tourism statistics released by Tourism Research Australia, Mr Mills said.
"We know the Central Coast has so much to offer visitors, so experiencing the destination during the conference program is certainly going to help change perceptions."
Tourism Central Coast was an exhibiting sponsor of the LGNSW Tourism Conference as the official tourism marketing and industry services agency under contract to Central Coast Council.
