The Bavarian Tuggerah - the Rockpool Dining Group’s 15th Bavarian restaurant in NSW - will open its doors at Westfield Tuggerah on Wednesday, March 27, with 500 free hot dogs distributed from 11am.
It will be located in the outdoor dining precinct, opposite The Coffee Club, and can accommodate 280 guests.
A spokesperson for Bavarian Tuggerah said it would offer a family-friendly menu including traditional Bavarian favourites such as crispy pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, a range of classic German and gourmet sausages, shared platters, and an assortment of schnitzels.
"Lighter bites include chicken wings, spicy squid and build-your-own salads from a checklist of fresh ingredients," the spokesperson said.
Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 6pm every day with $5 beer, wine and spirits and $1 chicken wings.
The menu was complemented by 17 beers on tap, the spokesperson said.
The opening of the restaurant would create 50 full-time and casual positions, and had supported the local economy by engaging about 50 professionals and tradespeople on the building project, Rockpool Dining Group chief executive officer Thomas Pash said.
