The Art House's executive director Anne-Marie Heath said the SSO's debut performance at Wyong, last July, sold out quickly.
"It was exhilarating and a really incredible experience," Ms Heath said.
"The audience were blown away. It sold out, of course, so there was a real collective feeling in that full house that they were experiencing something special for the Central Coast."
In that July performance, the SOO played a program of Mozart, featuring Australian’s premier French horn player, Ben Jacks.
It was one of several big 'firsts' for the venue in the last 12 months.
This time, the SSO will perform a piano program featuring the works of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven.
Making news:
The works will highlight the talents of virtuosso pianist Alessio Bax.
The concert is part of 'The Art House Presents' program for 2019 and will showcase The Art House’s Yamaha Grand C7 piano.
Alessio will perform Mozart’s final piano concerto, Piano Concerto No. 27 in B flat. It stands apart for its "sober perfection and innocent directness" a SSO spokesperson said.
"This is one of the composer’s most personal works: reflective, nostalgic and songful."
The program also includes Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, one of the composer's best-known works, and "a great soundscape".
The SSO will also perofrm Beethoven’s Eighth Symphony. Overshadowed by its bigger siblings, the Eighth is described as cheekily radical music.
Ms Heath said having the SSO perform at The Art House again was big news for local music lovers.
"This performance of this program is one of only four concerts in Australia, and the only one to happen outside a capital city," she said.
"Aside from that, the performance is the chance to listen to a beautiful program of Mozart, Beethoven and Mendelssohn by some of Australia’s finest musicians, as well as to hear international pianist Alessio Bax perform on our stunning grand piano."
Sydney Symphony Orchestra will perform at The Art House, Wyong, on Friday, March 22, at 7.30pm. Tickets are selling fast. Adults $59. Under 30s $40.
