The changes have been prompted by safety improvement works which started at the intersection of Motorway Link Road and Blue Haven Way, at Blue Haven.
“Work involves road widening and installing a concrete median to provide a safer intersection for motorists by preventing right turns onto Motorway Link Road from Blue Haven Way,” a spokesperson for Roads and Maritime Services said.
Work will be carried out from Monday, February 11, to Friday, February 15, from 7am to 5pm, and for an additional two weeks of night work from Sunday to Thursday from 7pm to 5am, weather permitting.
“Lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40kph will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists,” the spokesperson said.
“Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.”
