A KANGAROO hit by a train early Monday morning has shut down the Central Coast and Newcastle line.
No trains are running from Morisset to Wyong, in that direction only, after the animal was struck at Warnervale, causing damage to the train.
At 7.30am buses were being organised, but were yet to arrive.
Trains continue to run from Wyong to Morisset but passengers are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time.
Passengers should also listen to announcements and check indicator boards, as stopping patterns may change.
