The Eagles is a band whose songwriting and musicianship continues to stand the test of time. 

After forming in 1971, The Eagles won six Grammy Awards, had a plethora of chart-topping hits around the world and, in 1999, their Greatest Hits LP won the award for Best Selling Album Of The Century.

The Eagles Tribute Show: Heart of the Matter, has been widely acclaimed for its authentic renditions of Eagles classics.

The band played a bunch of successful shows across the Hunter in 2018, and are back in the region to do it all again.

“The Heart of the Matter will take you on an incredible musical journey through the career of The Eagles, featuring classics such as Take It Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Hotel California, Witchy Woman, Heartache Tonight, The Long Run and many more,” a spokesperson for the show said.

“Lead vocalist Paul McGovern’s unique voice, akin to that of the legendary Don Henley, takes audiences back in time with the beautiful vocal harmonies responsible for creating that incomparable sound of The Eagles.”

The band also features Cameron Lees, Graham Lockwood, Jerry Ico and Rob Turner.

Doors at Belmont 16s will open at 6.30pm for patrons with dinner and show tickets, and at 7.45pm for show-only ticket holders.

The music starts at 8.30pm.

Show-only tickets cost $25.

Tickets for dinner and the show cost $64.
