Chief Inspector Colin Lott, of Tuggerah Lakes Police District, received the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) on Australia Day. Mr Lott has been recognised for his service to the community through a range of roles including his work with the NSW Police Force, St John Ambulance NSW, and Hornsby Hospital. Mr Lott has been assistant commissioner operations with St John Ambulance since 2012, a police chief inspector since 1987, and a registered nurse with the hospital emergency department since 1999.
