Maritime blitz finds most skippers complying with safety regulations on the water; what's open or closed on Monday; and PFAS test results

ROADS and Maritime Services boating safety officers inspected 1875 vessels across the state during ‘Operation Safe Water: You’re the Skipper, You’re Responsible’ and found almost 90 per cent of boaters to be compliant with water safety regulations. The started on Saturday, January 12, and finished on Sunday, January 20. “It was pleasing to see that during the operation nearly all boaters were wearing lifejackets and were compliant with safety regulations,” NSW Maritime executive director Angus Mitchell said.​
