Also on the bill are Central Coast pop, soul, gospel and rhythm and blues recording artist, Ashrae; international Adventist a cappella group, Ardent Sound; and the young heroes of the children’s show PJ Masks.
This will be the fourth year that the Cooranbong-based school has hosted the event, and it has quickly become a stand-out on the annual carols circuit in Lake Macquarie.
The calibre of performers on the Avondale stage is always the highlight of the night, but the fireworks, food choices, children’s entertainment, and festive surprises are a close second.
It’s a family-friendly event, so alcohol and pets are not permitted. And that also makes for a relaxed and peaceful night.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate this special time of year,” a spokesperson for Avondale School said.
“It’s also a chance for Avondale School, and its sponsors, to provide something to give back to the community for all the support throughout the year.”
Avondale School is on Avondale Road, Cooranbong.
Gates will open at 4.30pm this Sunday, December 2.
Pre-show entertainment will start at 5pm.
