Sangha, 19, scored 117 batting at No 5 for the Blues against Tasmania in the game at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
His knock helped NSW to an imposing first innings total of 9-442 declared.
Sangha featured in a 180-run partnership with his Australian under-19 teammate Jack Edwards, who scored 101.
Sangha brought up his ton from 161 balls.
The Newcastle Herald reported Sangha glided a delivery down to third man from off-spinner Beau Webster. The shot pulled up just before the boundary but Sangha and his batting partner Steve O’Keefe crossed for three runs.
Sangha was eventually caught off the bowling of Matthew Wade.
Australian chairman of selectors Trevor Hohns was amongst the crowd while Test captain Tim Paine was wicketkeeping for Tasmania.
