Donors are required to register to donate blood at the facility.
The mobile unit will operate from 1pm to 6pm daily, from Tuesday through Friday.
A spokesperson for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service said one in three Australians would need blood in their lifetime, but only one in 30 donated.
“Donated blood helps cancer patients, people with blood disorders, mothers-to-be and newborn babies, as well as trauma and surgical patients,” the spokesperson said.
Up until recently, the minimum age for whole blood donation in Australia was 16 years, however it's now 18 years.
