Council’s acting community planning manager, Andrew Bryant, said You’re Kidding Me is an annual program of free workshops and talks about child development for children aged 0-5 years.
“The program, launched in 2015, helps council link families with local service providers offering expert advice, as well as practical strategies and tools that can be easily implemented in the home.
“We are seeking expressions of interest from providers in Lake Macquarie, the Hunter and Central Coast willing to provide a workshop talk on a particular area of child development, such as speech and language skills, healthy eating, emotional development, or any other area relevant to the growth and development of children.”
Providers interested in participating can submit an online expression of interest form.
The 2019 You’re Kidding Me program will be announced later this year.
