POLICE investigating the disappearance of a Lake Macquarie man last month are seeking public information to find the 45-year-old.

Jamie Keith McDonald is known to frequent the Watagans, Mount Sugarloaf and Wangi areas as well as local waterways.
Police said he was last seen by his family on August 28.
Mr McDonald is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 185cm tall, of thin build, with red/ginger hair and blue/grey eyes.
He was last seen near Belmont. Police have concerns for his welfare.
Investigators have urged anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers immediately on 1800 333 000.
