Sarah Holden, 35, is booked in for surgery by Dr Charlie Teo at Sydney’s Prince of Wales Hospital on October 3.
Dr Teo will attempt to remove a pineal cyctic tumour from deep inside Ms Holden’s brain.
The tumour is causing Ms Holden a range of debilitating health problems and, if left untreated, is likley to kill here.
“I have $30,000 left to raise now,” Ms Holden said.
Toronto Workers Club will host an event for Ms Holden on Saturday, September 15.
Tickets cost $50 and includes a drink on arrival, live music, food platters, raffles and auctions.
